Jaress Agfinance Ltd was founded with a vision to address the challenges faced by women smallholder farmers in Africa. Recognizing the critical role women play in agriculture and their limited access to financial resources, our founder established Jaress Agfinance to bridge this gap.

Starting with a small team and a commitment to change, Jaress first opened its doors starting with two branches in Song and Hong, Nigeria and has since grown to serve over 2000 women borrowers in it first year of operations.
From the beginning, we prioritized providing free training in climate-smart agriculture, linking farmers to sustainable funding options, and creating access to reliable markets through partnerships with trusted off-takers.Today, Jaress Agfinance is not just a microfinance institution but a community-driven movement empowering women, improving food security, and fostering sustainable development in Africa beginning rural Nigeria.
